Dear Dufatanye Family and Esteemed Partners,
As we come together to remember and honor the lives of our beloved ones who were so cruelly taken during the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, our hearts are heavy with sorrow, but also strengthened by hope and unity.
This season of remembrance is not only a time to grieve, but also to reflect on how far we have come as a people and how far we must still go. We stand together in solidarity, comforted by God’s grace and the strength we draw from one another.
Let us remember that Rwanda’s future is in our hands. This nation will be rebuilt and renewed through forgiveness, hard work, and patriotism. Let us continue to be a people who choose peace over hatred, reconciliation over revenge, and action over despair.
